Rigo Tovar Y Su Conjunto Costa Azul - Queridos Padres / Olvido

Description
Rigo Tovar Y Su Conjunto Costa Azul brings two evocative titles together on this 7-inch single: “Queridos Padres” and “Olvido.” The pairing sits within the broad Latin traditions of balada, bolero, and cumbia, where romantic storytelling and dance rhythms have long found room side by side. Bolero can turn longing into an intimate song, while cumbia’s steady pulse invites a more social kind of movement; that shared warmth gives these titles a natural place in the same conversation. Issued by Discos Nova Vox as catalog number 3042, the record offers a glimpse of how Latin popular music can hold tenderness and rhythm in one hand.
