Ring Ring Operator / Black Gold - Black Gold / Got Up And Dance With Me

Description
Disco turns the invitation into a pulse: a beat to follow, a refrain to carry into the night, and the simple pleasure of moving together. This 1977 German single pairs Ring Ring Operator’s “Black Gold” with Black Gold’s “Got Up And Dance With Me,” giving the two sides their own names while keeping dance firmly at the heart of the story. The title on the first side also names the artist credited on the second, a neat link across the record. Issued by Hansa as 11 885 AT, it catches disco’s enduring promise in a phrase that says exactly what a dance floor is for.
