Rivieras - Count Every Star / True Love Is Hard To Find

Description
On “Count Every Star,” the Rivieras take up the tender language of doo-wop, where a simple title can carry the weight of a promise. Then “True Love Is Hard To Find” turns the thought toward the searching, bittersweet side of rhythm and blues. Together, the two songs trace a familiar path through vocal pop’s old-school heart: devotion offered, desire tested, and feeling kept plain enough to sing along with. The Rivieras are credited on both sides of this Lost-Nite Records single, catalog number 164. Its charm lies in that enduring contrast: love can sound like certainty one moment and a question the next.
