Robert Knight - Everlasting Love / Somebody's Baby

Description
Soul has a way of making devotion feel both tender and urgent, and Robert Knight brings that warmth to the fore. On this 7-inch, “Everlasting Love” shares the record with “Somebody’s Baby,” two titles that circle the pull of affection without needing a grand introduction. Knight is a soul singer, and the tradition gives a voice room to turn a simple declaration into something intimate and direct. The single appears on Rising Sons as RS 45-705. There’s a lovely plainness in that promise of lasting love: in soul, sincerity itself can be the deepest kind of drama.
