Robert Winters & Fall - One More Year / Magic Man

Description
“One More Year” and “Magic Man” bring Robert Winters & Fall together on a 1980 funk and soul single with a sharp sense of contrast in its titles. Funk has always made room for both tight rhythmic drive and the expressive warmth of soul, a meeting that gives this pairing its natural home. Issued by Buddah as BDA-624, this United States pressing belongs to a tradition built around songs made to carry feeling as well as groove. Robert Winters & Fall keep the focus on the music itself: two distinct titles, joined on one compact release and rooted in the enduring conversation between funk and soul.
