Rockin' Sidney - Jalapeno Lena / My Toot-Toot

Description
A little zydeco bounce goes a long way. Rockin' Sidney brings that dance-minded Louisiana tradition into pop-rock territory on this 1984 single, where accordion-led roots music and a leaner popular-song shape meet in a lively exchange. “Jalapeno Lena” takes the A-side, with “My Toot-Toot” turning up on the reverse; the titles give the record its own playful character without needing extra fuss. Issued in the United States on Epic as 34-05430, it catches zydeco’s knack for carrying a party forward while making room for a catchy hook. The tradition thrives on movement, and this single keeps that spirit close at hand.
