Rocky Burnette - Baby Tonight / Because Of You

Description
Rocky Burnette brings two sides of late-’70s pop-rock to this 1979 single: “Baby Tonight” leads, with “Because Of You” waiting on the flip. Rock has always made room for melody as well as momentum, and soft rock leans into that balance, letting a song’s tune take the foreground without losing the pulse beneath it. Burnette is a rock singer, and these titles place him in a tradition where direct, memorable songs can feel at home in both a radio-friendly setting and a more intimate one. Issued in the USA on Emi America, catalog number 8050 SX500286, the single pairs its two songs in a compact, inviting form.
