Rocky Burnette - Fallin' In Love (Bein' Friends) / Fallin' In Love (Bein' Friends)

Description
Rockabilly has always had room for a little pop polish: a rolling rock-and-roll pulse can carry a tune straight into the heart of the moment. Rocky Burnette brings that blend to “Fallin' In Love (Bein' Friends),” a title that holds romance and friendship in the same breath. The song appears on both sides here, giving its central idea a place to linger rather than turning the record into a pair of unrelated scenes. Released in 1979 on Emi America, catalog number 8060, this single sits at an inviting crossroads of pop rock, rockabilly and rock & roll—a reminder that a love song can leave its meaning open.
