Rosa Felix - Penas Arraigadas / Tema De Capistrano

Description
Rosa Felix brings two ranchera titles together on this 7-inch single: “Penas Arraigadas” and “Tema De Capistrano.” Ranchera has a way of making feeling feel close at hand, carrying longing and resolve through direct melodies and an expressive vocal tradition. These titles offer a meeting point with that world, while leaving each song room to stand on its own. The record’s Mexican artist and USA pressing connect distinct parts of its story without needing to overstate what the music says. Issued by Maya as 45-15184, it preserves a compact pairing under Felix’s name, rooted in the enduring language of ranchera.
