Rufus Featuring Chaka Khan - Once You Get Started / You Got The Love

Description
Collectables brings Rufus Featuring Chaka Khan together on this 1991 US single, pairing “Once You Get Started” with “You Got The Love” under catalog number COL 3717. At the heart of funk and soul is the pleasure of musicians locking into a groove: a rhythm that keeps moving, leaves room for a strong vocal, and makes energy feel shared rather than solitary. These two titles place that spirit in the foreground, with Chaka Khan’s presence central to Rufus’s musical identity. The pairing connects funk’s rhythmic drive with soul’s expressive pull—a meeting that gives both songs their lasting place in the tradition.
