Sally Oldfield - Night Of The Hunter's Moon / Mirrors

Description
Bronze’s 1978 recording catches Sally Oldfield in the meeting place between folk’s storytelling roots and the broader reach of rock. “Night Of The Hunter's Moon” leads into “Mirrors,” pairing two titles that invite a little curiosity without giving away their secrets. Folk has always made room for songs that feel personal yet open-ended, while folk rock lets that intimacy travel with a fuller pulse; Oldfield’s work sits in that welcoming tradition. Issued in the United Kingdom on Bronze, catalog number BRO 66, this single belongs to a moment when folk’s directness could find fresh shape in rock. Sally Oldfield is the name at its heart.
