Sam The Sham And The Pharaohs - Black Sheep / My Day's Gonna Come

Description
Garage rock has always had a knack for making a little go a long way: a sharp title, a direct tune, and the feeling that something might break loose. Sam The Sham And The Pharaohs bring that spirit to this single, pairing “Black Sheep” with “My Day's Gonna Come.” The titles set two distinct scenes, one marked by difference, the other by expectation, without needing to explain themselves. There’s an appealing plainness in that kind of songwriting, where a few words can carry a whole point of view. Issued by Mgm as K-13747, this United States pressing belongs to pop and rock’s unruly garage tradition.
