Samantha Sang - You Keep Me Dancing / Change Of Heart

Description
Samantha Sang brings a graceful turn to “You Keep Me Dancing,” where the pulse of disco meets the intimacy of a pop ballad. The late-’70s dance floor could make room for both: a steady beat to move to, and a melody that keeps its emotional focus close. Sang, an Australian singer, gives that meeting a clear human center. “Change Of Heart” arrives later, shifting the record’s attention toward pop’s enduring fascination with love and its turning points. Issued in 1978 by Private Stock as PS 45.188, this single belongs to a moment when disco’s rhythmic language was finding a home in softer, more reflective songs.
