Seals & Crofts - Baby Blue / Goodbye Old Buddies

Description
“Baby Blue” gives this 1976 Seals & Crofts single its name and its opening thought, while “Goodbye Old Buddies” turns the other side toward parting company. The pairing suits soft rock’s gift for making intimate, everyday feelings feel spacious without losing their human scale. Seals & Crofts were a pop duo, and here the titles themselves suggest two different ways of looking at change: one held close, the other addressed to friends on their way out. Issued in the USA by Warner Bros. Records as WBS 8330, this release belongs to a tradition that lets a direct song title carry a whole emotional scene.
