Senior Class - Disco Pomp, Too / Disco Pomp

Description
Amerama Records’ 1978 USA single brings Senior Class together with “Disco Pomp, Too” and “Disco Pomp,” a pair of titles rooted in disco’s bright, dance-minded world. By the late seventies, disco had become a meeting place for funk’s elastic grooves and soul’s expressive warmth, shaping music made to carry a room along. Senior Class gives that tradition a concise calling card here: “Disco Pomp, Too” leads, with “Disco Pomp” alongside it, and the label’s catalog number 5008 marks this release. The record belongs to a moment when disco’s pulse reached well beyond the club, inviting listeners to find its rhythm wherever they gathered.
