Shalamar - I Don't Wanna Be The Last To Know / Dead Giveaway

Description
“I Don't Wanna Be The Last To Know” opens a small window onto Shalamar’s sleek 1983 world, where funk and soul meet the bright, tightly shaped rhythms of synth-pop. Then “Dead Giveaway” turns the page, keeping the focus on the group’s knack for bringing dance music and polished pop into the same conversation. That blend belongs to a longer soul tradition: songs built to move a room, yet crafted with enough melodic detail to stay with you after the beat fades. Released in the USA on Solar, catalog number 7-69819, this single catches that meeting of warmth and modern shine in two distinct titles.
