Sharktooth - "Jaws" / Jaws

Description
Sharktooth’s 1975 single brings funk and disco together in the bright, dance-minded spirit of a decade when the groove could carry a whole room. Its two title listings appear as “Jaws” and Jaws, a small variation around a name that gives this release its unmistakable identity. Funk’s supple rhythms and disco’s steady pulse made for a natural meeting, balancing earthy movement with the invitation to keep dancing. Issued in the USA on Bryan Records as B-1021, this 7-inch keeps the focus on the title and the tradition it calls to mind: music built to move people together.
