Sharktooth - "Jaws" / Jaws

Description
There’s a little snap to disco-funk at its best: a tight groove, a bright pulse, and plenty of room for the rhythm to do the talking. Sharktooth brings that spirit to this 1975 seven-inch, pairing “Jaws” on side A with Jaws on side B. The two titles invite a closer look, while the music sits in the lively meeting place of funk’s earthy drive and disco’s dance-floor focus. Bryan Records issued the single as B-1021 in the USA. That blend remains part of disco-funk’s appeal: body-moving rhythm with funk’s unmistakable sense of grit.
