Sherman Hunter - Dancing Down The Avenue / Dancing Down The Avenue

Description
Sherman Hunter steps straight into the story with “Dancing Down The Avenue,” a title that belongs to disco’s invitation to move together and let the groove carry the night. In the late seventies, disco turned the dance floor into a place for shared release: steady rhythm, bright spirit and room for everyone to find their own way through the beat. This 1979 US single brings that tradition into focus, with “Dancing Down The Avenue” returning on the flip side. Issued by Shiro as SHX-6315, it keeps the spotlight on one memorable title and the simple pleasure at disco’s heart: dancing side by side.
