Silver - So Much For The Past / Memory

Description
Silver opens with “So Much For The Past,” a 1976 soft-rock single that finds its place in a tradition built on pop’s clear melodies and rock’s steady pulse. Soft rock often makes room for reflection without losing its sense of ease, and the title gives this song a thoughtful point of entry. There’s a particular charm in music that lets a melody carry the feeling rather than overstate it. The flip side, “Memory,” completes the pairing, while Arista’s AS 0210 marks this United States pressing. Together, the titles suggest a record shaped around looking back, a familiar thread in pop songwriting.
