Silverbird - Yata Hei (Means Hello In Navajo) / Without A Dream

Description
“Yata Hei (Means Hello In Navajo)” opens a door to a meeting of styles, while “Without A Dream” gives Silverbird a second title to set beside it. On this 1980 single, the group’s pop setting touches disco, psychedelic rock and soft rock—three traditions with different ways of shaping a memorable tune, from disco’s steady dance pulse to rock’s more open-ended colors and soft rock’s melodic ease. The contrast makes the two titles an inviting pairing without asking them to tell the same story. Released on Bravo as IRDA 598, the record brings those varied pop strands together under Silverbird’s name.
