Sir Henry - Not The Very First / Broken Heart Affairs

Description
Emi’s 1984 Danish single pairs Sir Henry’s “Not The Very First” with “Broken Heart Affairs,” a meeting point for pop-rock songcraft and the bright, direct spirit of rock ’n’ roll revival. The titles suggest a knack for compact, memorable storytelling, while the beat tradition behind the record keeps pop close to its roots: strong melodies, clear momentum, and songs made to connect without fuss. Sir Henry gives this style a distinctly Danish setting, where familiar rock ’n’ roll language can feel lively and personal rather than borrowed. Released as catalog number 13 9533 7, it captures pop’s enduring conversation with rock’s earliest energy.
