Slim Whitman - When / When

Description
“When” is a title that invites a little patience, and here it appears on both sides of this 1980 single by Slim Whitman. Country music has long made room for songs that linger over a feeling rather than hurry past it; a repeated title can carry that sense of return all by itself. Whitman is a country singer, and this release brings the song into that tradition with a direct, unadorned focus on its central word. Issued by Epic as 9-50912 in the United States, it offers a neat reminder of how much a familiar phrase can hold when a song keeps coming back to it.
