Smokey Robinson - Being With You / What's In Your Life For Me

Description
Smokey Robinson gives “Being With You” the tender, direct heart of a great soul song: a love song that finds its meaning in devotion itself. Robinson is a singer and songwriter, and that feeling of words carried gently but clearly sits at the centre of his work. Released in 1981 on Tamla, catalog number T 54321F, the single belongs to soul’s enduring art of making intimacy feel shared, not private. Its other side, “What's In Your Life For Me,” turns the question toward the give-and-take between two people. Together, the titles leave love not as an abstraction, but as something expressed through attention and care.
