Smokey Robinson - You Are Forever / I Hear The Children Singing

Description
Smokey Robinson brings a songwriter’s touch to both sides of this 1981 Motown single, where soul’s intimate voice meets pop’s gift for a memorable song. “You Are Forever” gives the record its first title, then “I Hear The Children Singing” turns the page to a second, distinct statement. The pairing belongs to a tradition that lets a compact song carry warmth and purpose without needing grand gestures; each title stands on its own while sharing the same carefully shaped setting. Issued on Motown as T 54327F, this United States pressing places two songs together under Robinson’s name—a reminder that soul can make room for tenderness and reflection.
