Soeur Sourire - Frère « Tout L’Monde » (Brother Of The Whole World) / Tous Les Chemins (All The Roads)

Description
Philips’ United States pressing pairs two songs by Soeur Sourire: “Frère « Tout L’Monde » (Brother Of The Whole World)” and “Tous Les Chemins (All The Roads).” The folk setting gives these French-language titles room to meet a tradition built on direct melodies and songs shared from voice to voice, where a simple tune can carry a generous thought. There is an inviting openness in the way the titles sit together, moving from a sense of fellowship toward the image of roads continuing onward. On Philips, catalog number 40165 / PHW1-30779, the pairing leaves the listener with a quietly enduring idea: music can make a common path feel close.
