Sonia Rivas - No Eres Mi Guardian / Justo Ahora

Description
“No Eres Mi Guardian” sets the scene for Sonia Rivas, whose name also belongs beside “Justo Ahora,” a pairing that brings two titles into one tender pop-ballad moment. Ballads have always made room for feelings too complicated for a quick answer, letting a melody linger while a story takes shape; that intimate tradition gives this 1981 single its natural setting. Issued in the USA by Th Top Hits as TH-670, it offers a glimpse of Rivas through these two songs, with their Spanish titles carrying a sense of direct address and immediacy. The record’s lasting appeal lies in the enduring closeness between a singer and a listener.
