Sonny & Chér - A Cowboys Work Is Never Done / Somebody

Description
A 7-inch single from the United States, this release pairs Sonny & Chér’s “A Cowboys Work Is Never Done” with “Somebody,” two titles that give the record a clear sense of character without needing a grand introduction. Sonny & Chér bring pop-rock into the close, conversational world of the single: a compact form built to make a song’s central idea linger. The contrast between the playful specificity of “A Cowboys Work Is Never Done” and the plainspoken pull of “Somebody” makes the pairing especially inviting. Issued on Kapp Records as KS-2163, it captures the appeal of pop’s knack for making a small, direct statement feel complete.
