Spinners - Disco Ride / Working My Way Back To You / Forgive Me, Girl

Description
Spinners bring a dance-floor invitation with “Disco Ride,” a title that places this 1979 single in the bright, rhythmic world where disco and soul meet. Disco grew from soul’s deep groove, stretching it into music made for collective movement; that balance of warmth and pulse gives the style its lasting appeal. On the flip, “Working My Way Back To You / Forgive Me, Girl” carries the story forward in its own words, pairing a familiar song title with a plea for forgiveness. Issued by Atlantic as ST-A-37557-SP, this American pressing connects the Spinners to a tradition built on groove, feeling and songs meant to travel.
