Stacy Lattisaw - Nail It To The Wall / Nail It To The Wall (Instrumental)

Description
Stacy Lattisaw brings “Nail It To The Wall” to a meeting point between funk’s earthy pulse and the bright, urgent drive of Hi-NRG. The title has the snap of a dance-floor invitation, while the track’s place in rhythm and blues connects it to a tradition built on groove, vocal presence and movement. Released in 1985 on Motown as 1859 MF, this United States pressing carries that blend into a distinctly mid-eighties setting. Turn it over for “Nail It To The Wall (Instrumental),” which puts the song’s arrangement in the foreground. The pairing makes room for both the vocal-led song and its rhythmic foundation.
