Stampeders - Sweet City Woman / Gator Road

Description
Stampeders bring “Sweet City Woman” and “Gator Road” together on a 7-inch single that catches the easy, open pull of folk rock meeting blues and rock. Folk rock has always made room for songs that feel rooted yet ready to roam, while blues gives rock its earthy backbone; this pairing sits comfortably in that lively crossing of traditions. “Sweet City Woman” leads the release, with “Gator Road” alongside it, offering two distinct titles without asking one to explain the other. Issued on Bel as catalog number 45,120, this USA pressing makes a neat point of connection to a Canadian group working in a distinctly North American musical language.
