Stargard - High On The Boogie / Diary

Description
“High On The Boogie” and “Diary” bring two sides of Stargard’s 1981 single together: one title reaching for the dance floor, the other turning inward. That contrast sits naturally within boogie, disco and soul, where polished dance rhythms and soul’s expressive tradition can share the same space. Stargard is a soul group, and this release gives the pairing room to suggest a conversation between movement and reflection without needing to spell it out. Issued in the United States by Warner Bros. as WBS 49731, this 7-inch single belongs to a moment when soul and disco met in the lively language of boogie.
