Steel River - A Lie / Southbound Train

Description
There’s a restless pull to blues-rock: it takes the grit and loose swing of the blues and lets rock push it down the road. Steel River brings that spirit to this 7-inch single, with “A Lie” on one side and “Southbound Train” on the other. The titles leave room for two distinct turns in the journey, while the music sits in a tradition built on strong grooves, direct playing and the expressive give-and-take of blues and rock. Evolution issued the single as catalog number 1044 in the United States. Blues-rock keeps its roots close even when it’s heading somewhere new.
