Stephanie Mills - Wish That You Were Mine / Sweet Sensation

Description
Disco turns the dance floor into a place for both release and longing, pairing a steady pulse with the intimacy of a love song. Stephanie Mills brings that contrast to “Wish That You Were Mine” and “Sweet Sensation,” two sides that place desire at the heart of the record. Her work here sits in the meeting ground of funk, soul and electronic disco, where rhythmic drive and expressive singing belong together. Issued in the United States by 20Th Century Fox Records as TC-2449, this single carries the enduring appeal of disco’s central idea: a song can ask for closeness while keeping the whole room moving.
