Stevie Wonder - Never Had A Dream Come True / Somebody Knows, Somebody Cares

Description
Stevie Wonder opens this 1969 Tamla single with “Never Had A Dream Come True,” a tender title that sits beautifully within soul’s tradition of turning private feeling into something shared. Wonder was a singer and songwriter, and that combination gives this pairing a natural intimacy: the voice carries the story while the song keeps its focus close. The flip side, “Somebody Knows, Somebody Cares,” offers another glimpse of the human connection at the heart of soul music, where vulnerability and reassurance belong side by side. Issued as Tamla T-54191, the record brings two thoughtful songs together under Wonder’s name.
