Styx - Queen Of Spades / Too Much Time On My Hands

Description
Styx bring Queen Of Spades and Too Much Time On My Hands together on a 1980 single that catches classic rock in its big, restless stride. The title Queen Of Spades carries a touch of old card-table lore, while Too Much Time On My Hands turns to a more everyday kind of unease; their contrast gives the record its own little dramatic arc. Styx are a rock band, and these titles sit comfortably within the genre’s long tradition of bold hooks, vivid characters and songs built to travel beyond the room where they began. Issued by A&M Records as 2323-S, it’s a meeting of mythic shadow and modern restlessness.
