Surface / Surface (With Love Voice): Regina Belle - Unknown Title A / All I Want Is You

Description
“All I Want Is You” carries the credit Surface (With Love Voice): Regina Belle, while “Unknown Title A” is listed under Surface—a pairing that gives this 1990 single two distinct paths into its contemporary R&B and soul setting. Surface’s name also sits at the heart of the record’s credits, linking both sides without collapsing their separate attributions. Contemporary R&B has long made room for soul’s expressive vocal tradition while embracing the polish of its own era, and that meeting gives this release its natural context. Columbia issued it as 38-73684, a concise document of R&B and soul at the turn of the decade.
