Surface (With Love Voice): Regina Belle / Surface - All I Want Is You / Unknown Title B

Description
Smooth soul has a way of making intimacy feel effortless, and Surface bring that sensibility to this 1990 Columbia single, 38-73684. The shared credit, Surface (With Love Voice): Regina Belle, points to the collaboration at the heart of “All I Want Is You,” while Surface are also named on “Unknown Title B.” The titles stay distinct, with Belle’s name attached to the first and Surface credited on the second. Contemporary R&B draws on soul’s closeness and funk’s easy rhythmic pull; here, that tradition gives the record its setting, with a direct focus on the voices and the song names themselves.
