Surface (With Love Voice): Regina Belle / Surface - All I Want Is You / Unknown Title B

Description
There’s a tender side to soul’s groove, and this 1990 single brings it forward through Surface and Regina Belle. Surface’s “All I Want Is You” carries the supplied credit “Surface (With Love Voice): Regina Belle,” a meeting of names that gives the song a distinct place on the record. The flip is listed as “Unknown Title B,” credited to Surface. Released by Columbia as 38-73684, the single sits in the continuing conversation between funk’s rhythmic pulse and contemporary R&B’s soulful songwriting. That blend has room for both a steady groove and an intimate vocal presence, keeping soul’s human touch at its center.
