Susi Beatty - Down Home Jubilee / Heart From A Stone

Description
Country music has always had room for songs that feel close to home and stories that linger after the last line. On this 1989 single, Susi Beatty brings together “Down Home Jubilee” and “Heart From A Stone,” two titles that suggest the range country songwriting can hold: a gathering’s warmth and a more guarded heart. Starway Records, Inc. issued the record as SW 1206-7, carrying Beatty’s name into a tradition built on direct feeling, memorable phrases, and songs made to be shared. The pairing gives this release its own small arc, from a jubilant welcome to the enduring pull of a heart hard to reach.
