Suzi Quatro - Don't Change My Luck / Wiser Than You

Description
“Don't Change My Luck” and “Wiser Than You” bring two sides of Suzi Quatro’s pop-rock world together on this 1978 British 7-inch single. Quatro is a rock musician, and there’s a satisfying directness to the way these paired titles set up a meeting of resolve and reflection without needing to tell the same story twice. Released on Rak as catalog number 7C 006-61837, the single belongs to a tradition in which a compact song could carry the charge of rock while keeping its hooks close at hand. The pairing leaves room for both grit and thought, a reminder that pop-rock can be brisk without being one-note.
