Tennessee 'bone Band - Boogie Woogie / Bluegrass Trombones

Description
A 1973 Paramount 7-inch single pairs “Boogie Woogie” with “Bluegrass Trombones,” a lively meeting of two traditions that both prize rhythmic lift and instrumental personality. The Tennessee 'bone Band brings an invitingly unusual name to this bluegrass release, while the titles point to a playful crossing of styles: boogie’s driving pulse alongside the bright, nimble spirit suggested by bluegrass and its trombones. That blend of sturdy rhythm and agile ensemble play belongs to a long folk tradition of making familiar sounds new through fresh combinations. Issued in the USA as PAA-0260 MB-27970-S, this single keeps its appeal in the contrast between those two memorable titles.
