The 8Th Day - If I Could See The Light / If I Could See The Light (Instrumental)

Description
The 8Th Day bring gospel feeling into soul with “If I Could See The Light,” a title that speaks to the tradition’s faith in music as a source of hope and renewal. Gospel has long carried its message through close harmonies, expressive voices and the steady lift of the congregation; soul gives that inheritance a new place to shine. Here, the song’s words and its instrumental counterpart are paired on Invictus, Is-9107. Turn the record over for “If I Could See The Light (Instrumental),” where the central musical idea stands on its own. Together, the titles keep gospel’s enduring conversation between faith and feeling in view.
