The Association - Dreamer / You Turn The Light On

Description
The Association bring a tender soft-rock touch to this 1981 single, pairing “Dreamer” with “You Turn The Light On.” Soft rock often finds its strength in the balance between intimacy and polish: songs can feel close and personal while still opening into the broader language of pop. That tradition gives this pairing a natural place, with two evocative titles set alongside one another rather than explained away. The Association’s name anchors the release, while the songs invite listeners to follow their own connections between dreaming and illumination. Issued in the United States on Elektra, catalog E-47094, it captures a thoughtful meeting of pop and rock.
