The Bachelors - Charmaine / Old Bill

Description
The Bachelors bring a close-harmony approach to pop, where a song can feel intimate even as its voices gather around a melody. On one side is “Charmaine”; turn the record and “Old Bill” gives the pair its other title, each with a place in the easy give-and-take of traditional folk and country-pop. Decca issued this 1962 United Kingdom single as F.11559. The Bachelors’ Irish identity sits naturally beside a tradition that has long carried songs across borders through shared melodies and blended voices. These two titles invite that kind of attention: not as a grand statement, but as songs held together by harmony.
