The Bachelors - Marta / Oh How I Miss You

Description
“Marta” opens this London 7-inch, catalog number 45-20027, with The Bachelors bringing the close-knit craft of vocal pop to the fore. Its companion, “Oh How I Miss You,” gives the release a second title to linger over, while the contrast between the names invites a little curiosity without telling the listener what to expect. Vocal pop has long made a virtue of voices meeting in harmony, turning a compact song into something shared and immediate. The Bachelors belong to that tradition here: two concise titles, each carrying its own place on the record, and a pairing that keeps the focus on the songs themselves.
