The Boys - Lucky Charm / Lucky Charm

Description
The Boys bring “Lucky Charm” to both sides of this 1988 Motown single, a title that sits neatly within the label’s long conversation with pop and R&B. Here, the record’s identity is wonderfully direct: one song, named again on the reverse, with no need for a grand story around it. R&B has always made room for the meeting of rhythmic ease and a strong pop hook, and that shared language gives this release its place in the tradition. Issued as Motown MOT-1952, it belongs to a moment when those sounds met naturally in popular music. The Boys and “Lucky Charm” are the essentials.
