The Cowsills - Hair / What Is Happy?

Description
The Cowsills put “Hair” on the A-side of this 7-inch single, with “What Is Happy?” waiting on the flip. Released on Mgm Records as K 14026, it brings two titles together in the bright, approachable world of pop rock. Sunshine pop has a special gift for turning a compact song into something buoyant and immediate, while rock’s sturdy pulse keeps that brightness grounded. The contrast between these titles invites a little curiosity without needing any grand claims: one familiar word, one searching question. The Cowsills are the thread connecting them, and the pairing leaves that question of happiness hanging pleasantly in the air.
