The Cowsills - Indian Lake / Newspaper Blanket

Description
Mgm’s K 13944 brings The Cowsills together on a bright slice of late-sixties pop, with “Indian Lake” and “Newspaper Blanket” giving the single its own particular charm. Bubblegum pop is often at its best when it keeps things direct: a memorable tune, an inviting melody and a sense of shared good cheer. Here, that approachable spirit meets the polished bounce of pop rock, the kind of sound built to make a song feel instantly familiar without losing its character. The Cowsills are credited on both sides, and the pairing makes this 7-inch a neat reminder of how much personality a concise pop single can hold.
