The Desert Rose Band - Summer Wind / Our Songs

Description
Country rock has always made room for two kinds of longing: the open road ahead and the people who make a place feel like home. The Desert Rose Band brings that balance to this 1988 single, with “Summer Wind” on one side and “Our Songs” on the other. The titles invite a small contrast, but the pleasure here is in the tradition itself, where country storytelling and rock’s forward motion can share the same space without losing their distinct character. Issued by Curb Records as MCA-53354, the single gives that meeting of roots and movement a neat, enduring form: a song can travel and still remember where it belongs.
